Spinal Decompression is specifically targeted to your symptomatic areas, whereas standard traction is different because it will pull along the entire spinal section being treated. Spinal Decompression is designed to target the most problematic disc in the spine. Each disc has a nerve root innervating into different parts of the body; we target that disc to offload the nerve root, at the same time rehydrating those discs and easing spinal stenosis. We also will utilize imaging (x-ray, MRI, CT scan) obtained by medical providers to help determine the appropriate level to target.
